Racial Islam

There is a cancer growing in the body politic of our nation. It is militant Islam. It is relatively small just now, but its size is disproportionate to its lethal potential. Be warned: it thrives on racial division.

Islam has historically used race to further its expansionist policy. In India missionaries for Mohammed followed up on the victories of Genghis Khan and Tamerlane, who had battled their way across the Khyber Pass to weaken the Hindu’s grip on the great Gangetic plain. For the Hindu, the core of their pantheon was a central trinity: Brahma, the Creator; Shiva, the Destroyer and Vishnu, the Preserver. But the greatest barrier to Hindu-Moslem understanding was social not religious. It was caste, the system that made order of Hindu society.

Caste had been a convenient device to perpetuate India’s social inequities by giving them divine sanction. The faith of the Prophet appealed to the Untouchables, the lowest rung on the social ladder, because it gave them a sense of brotherhood and acceptance their own faith could offer only in some distant reincarnation. Gandhi did not want to see India partitioned in 1947, but the differences between Islam and Hinduism were irreconcilable and the creation of Pakistan, a Muslim state, was the only solution.

Nation of Islam’s Minister Louis Farrakhan calls for a partitioned country with a separate Black American state in the deep south. Following his Million Man March a few years ago in Washington, Farrakhan tripped off to Tripoli to team up with Libya’s Colonel Moammar Gadhafi in his desert tent. There, from Moammar, he learned more about how to mobilize “oppressed minorities to play a significant role in American political life,” according to Libya’s official news agency. While there, Farrakhan put a finger on the Colonel for a cool $1 billion to help further his unblushing racism in the United States.

Muslim activists have been trying to convince African–Americans that Islam is the religion of the black man, even falsely declaring that Mohammed was black. The extent of their success is most notable in the sports world where some highly paid stars have adopted Islamic names.

The inconvenient historic fact is that Mohammed referred to Blacks as “slaves.” Apparently his philosophy was, “I don’t have anything against the negro. I think everybody should own one.” The tradition continues today in Sudan, where Black Christians in the South have been taken as slaves by Arabs in the Islamic North.

We need to proclaim today, more than ever, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32
